This garden spade turned out to be a surprisingly handy tool for all sorts of tasks around the garden. The square blade is perfect for edging and slicing through soil cleanly, and it even handled some light snow clearing without any bother. The long handle gives good leverage, which makes digging far less tiring, especially for someone like me who's not exactly built for heavy garden work!The build quality feels sturdy and reliable — the handle is well attached, and the weight is nicely balanced, so it doesn’t feel awkward during use. It’s definitely saved me time and effort when preparing flower beds and turning over compost.If I had to be picky, the paint did scuff slightly after a few uses, and I would’ve loved a slightly softer grip, but these are minor things compared to how well it performs overall. A very decent spade that gets the job done without fuss!

A very good quality, solidly built spade from HYCHIKA. It's not as heavy as some spades, however I ordered this for my husband to use rather than myself, for health reasons. He's started to do some gardening catch-up and also plans on helping our son clear the overgrown borders in his garden. He's never happier than when out in the garden and is delighted with the quality and ease of use of this spade. The handle is strongly welded onto the base, the rubber sleeve makes it easier to grip and reduces rubbing/blistering on the hands (usually a problem for my husband), and it has an attractive green handle made from sturdy plastic. The curved edging around the spade itself helps to prevent soil from falling off the edges, making quicker, neater work, also the rounded top part is easier to apply foot pressure to when driving it into the ground. It cuts very sharply into the ground and makes neat edges; the angled shape also helps give good leverage. The metal body is really strong, although we haven't tried cutting any red bricks with it as we'd rather keep it as sharp as possible for gardening! There's a lot of talk in the instructions about keeping it dry and clean, so I hope my husband will continue to look after it carefully to prolong its life. It's also great to know that it can be used to shovel snow in the winter or for any other clearance work which needs doing.

Really good quality shovel that is really well made. Structurally solid it still feels quite lightweight to use and maneuver. The handle is a nice length and there is a large rubberized section down its length for comfort, I found this to be a great feature that stopped my second/lower hand getting blistered or sore.The pan has a good depth to it and can hold a good amount per shovel. I won't use it to dig with but I would anticipate it would be good for yhis to. As a shovel it works superbly and although expensive it is really good quality
