Stable facile a utilisé c est parfait

I bought this to use in our small home studio. It will be used with a Shure SM57 mic for vocal and amp recording. Seems stable and with the mice boom fully extended with the SM57 it seems very stable. I works very well for my needs and should last for years to come.

This is an excellent product. Well constructed that is typical for the Hercules product line. This particular model has a very good price point. I am using a Rode NT1 mic that is reasonably heavy and it hold the mic well. even at 80% extension of the boom arm. The weighted boom end should have a metal clip so that some users who use the full boom extension can add a small nylon bag with a counterweight for added security. As with any mic setup, it is preferable that you position one of the legs of the stand based directly under the mic weight for added assurance against tipping. I have 2 minor negatives . 1) the legs do not lock in place so you have to b e mindful that they are in position before adding you mic . 2) it would be nice if the boom telescoped so you could get another 2 feet or so in certain applications where needed. These features of course come in a m ic stand that costs about twice the price.For the price point they did a great job here and I will give them a full 5 stars. ... Enjoy this purchase ...Aaron
