Better metal vs plastic for a more full bodied flavour. The metal version is what we use daily and the same coffee and filter produced more flavour compared to the red plastic version. Using the same technique water dripped slower through the metal dripper. Silver metal is priced higher but worth it.

Lasts forever, dishwasher proof, good looking and the black ring can be removed.
