Ho notato una leggera dominante rossa facilmente correggibile in postproduzione. Promosso.

Being a photographer, albeit amateur, I do like to have a few useful circular filters in my kit bag I am not as skilled with a variety of filters as some, but I do like to occasionally use my ND filters when I am shooting seascapes and landscapes, particularly whilst the sky is still a little bright. This 1.5 to 5 stop filter is easy to use, it fitted to my Canon 18 to 135 mm lens nicely, and the rotating dial moves smoothly between the stops, which are clearly marked on the filter ring, and the rotation will only go as far as each end of the range, this ensures you are always in the expected range.I am looking forward to trying this to get a few more arty shots than just adding a bit of punch to the skies, only time and a lot more photos will tell as to whether I achieve that 🙂.I like the fact that the lens cap clips on to the filter tightly. It is never the be all and end all, as mostly I remove the filter when I am done, but with this filter my lens cap ritted as good as, if not better than, it does to my lens. The filter comes with a general circular filter user guide, but also a double sided exposure time card, and a nice box to keep it secure, the whole thing was nicely packaged and would make a good gift. The filter itself seems to be very well made, with quality optical glass. I think that £37.24 is a fair price to pay for the quality of this filter.

This is a nicely made and high quality filter. Manufactured to a superb level it features a metal surround which screws into my lenses with ease and rotates very smoothly when adjusting the density of the filter, it is also provided in a nice quality protective plastic case for storage when not in use.I decided to go for an 82mm filter as my main 'carry about' lens is natively an 82mm thread size so it fits ideally, but at the same time using 'step down' rings I can potentially use this filter on any of my range of lenses which saves having to buy multiple filters. In a similar vein I also went for this filter because it features a variable density capability which is adjusted by simply rotating the filter similar to how you would do with a polarizing filter. This means so long as I don't want an ND factor outside its range of 1.5 to 5 stops I only need the one filter to carry in my bag rather than a range of different densities. I know some people will probably say dedicated ND filters will offer better quality, but in my tests this one has proved perfectly good with great colour registration and clarity so I don't expect there would be much gain using a range of fixed filters. Being able to adjust the density as desired though without having to change the filter is in my opinion very advantageous and convenient. The mount is also suitably thin that even with my wide-angle lens there are no issues with vignetting to compromise images.Overall this makes this filter a must have accessory at a reasonable price when you consider the quality and versatility it offers.

I'll be honest, I'm not much of a photography person, but my wife does have a camera that I managed to have a bit of a play around with using this filter. The filter is really easy to use, you just need to make sure you get the right size for the lens of your camera. Once you've got the right size, it clips on pretty easily, and you're good to go! An ND filter basically just lets in less light. The higher the ND figure, the less light it lets in.So, why would you want to use one? There are are some specific use cases where they're ideal. If you want to capture an image and need increased exposure time, but don't want your image to be shot out with light, then you obviously need to decrease the amount of light entering your lens to counteract this. If you want to capture an action shot and really capture motion, then the increased exposure will do just that.Overall, I think if you actually need an ND filter, then this is the perfect product for you. Would recommend!
