This is the world's smallest wastebasket. It's really small. It's completely underwhelming. It looks bigger in the picture than it is. There are plenty of less expensive black metal wastebaskets that work as well as this.Ironically, the 3-gallon trash bags do not fit this wastebasket as recommended in its description.Frankly, it's a waste of money but I'll keep it because I have more important things to attend to.I'm just very disappointed in it because it's not worth the price.

I hope no one in my family or friends finds out how much I spent on a freaking trash can but I sleep better at night knowing I own it. Just get it...this is a grown up trash can and you are a grown up! I got black bags and the top is what makes this can special, hiding and holding the bag. Can is heavy, wont fall over for sure. I love it. Nice matte finish too, very sleek.updated review now that ive 'taken the trash out' for the first time....one complaint in design flaw. the top edge of the can (when the top cover is removed) has a lip, about 1/3 inch. so while you're pulling out your trash bag, contents in the bag snag on the edge of this lip. this is maddening. I had to wiggle bag and even push the trash inward on all 4 sides to get it out. meanwhile the trash bag ripped. the only way to avoid this in the future will be to never fully fill the trash-so the bag's contents will be much smaller than the opening. I think im going to line the inside edge with duct tape or something to create a smooth passage out and up for the bags. such a shame! there is NO REASON for this lip in the design. I wish it was just flush, straight metal!

You can find a small waste bin for a lot less money. But if you are trying not to avoid buying plastic, you won’t find anything of higher quality than this. The quality is visible. This waste bin has some heft, and the padded bottom is a nice touch. But especially nice is the top piece that holds a liner in place.

Arrived without being dented, is sturdy and has a nice finish. I had been searching through horrendous reviews and feeling discouraged. I like this can specifically because the top comes off to secure the bag (if you need one, which I do not seeing as it is for paper towel trash). Love it -- I bought 2 separately and they are both great. I looked at so many other trashcans before deciding on this one.
