This model works good at it's price point, a basic forest shoe stable enough to work even when backpacking.I waxed with Nikwax before going on my outings and they were completely waterproof even in wet Swedish autumn weather.No foot pain, no chafing, no blisters. They even cured my leg pains that started to appear with my 6 year old beater shoes.The bad:They are basic. As in very basic. No frills, no fancicities, nothing but a basic shoe.Speed lace lugs are of a cheap variety that can snag and chew up your pant legs.The outsole is a bit hard and slippy on wet logs and such. Insole is laughable, thin and hard.All in all, if you find these at a reduced price they're worth it. At the msrp of 115 euro the competition is fierce and I wouldn't really favor these over anything else at that point.There are worse shoes that cost more. The decision is yours.
