We wanted GAP jeans as a gift for a slim and tall 7 year old. We followed the guidelines on Amazon, and the jeans are perfect. The waste was a little large as he’s so slim, but there is an adjustment pull in the jeans that when pulled made for a perfect fit with room to grow.

As expected, these were high quality jeans that fit my son with a little give (they are slightly stretchy, which works well for outdoor play and wearing jeans to gym class). I love the color--deep navy/denim color and the length is perfect. We have washed them once and there is no bleeding or fading as of yet.Fit is flattering with a little room in the legs, but not too much to create bagginess. My son is 11 and slightly tall and skinny for his age, so a size 12 fits well with a belt for him. So far he is very pleased and I am too, knowing that they will last and fit well until he grows a bit more.

These are what typical jeans will be. The material is 80% Cotton, 18% Polyester, 2% Elastane. They have decent thickness and are soft in the meantime. I like that they are a little bit stretchy and not stiff. The style is straight fit. The only challenge for my son is the Zipper. But he has to get used to it anyway. Overall, a pair of quality jeans going well with anything.
