Great product. I highly recommend period.

Given the amount of dirt/dust on the filter when I replaced it, I say this is definitely a high-efficiency filter comparable to the Filtrete 2200 filter (which I have used) for about one-third the price. Construction of the filter is pretty much the same as other filters I've used, including the name-brand one. Obviously, the frame or housing really doesn't matter because it's the filter material that counts. It's interesting to note that one can subscribe to have these filters sent automatically on a pre-set frequency. But six filters at three months each (normal use) means this pack of six filters should be enough for one and a half years. I don't believe a subscription is needed. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of this filter and will definitely re-order when this current stack runs out.

I have been using the same brand of filters for my HVAC, since I moved into my new home. They are cheap, allowing me to swap them frequently without too much hit on the wallet. I saw these and ordered them. These are far better than the brand I was using. My previous filters tend to bend when pushing them into the filter slot. I did not experience that with these. They are a bit more expensive than my previous filters, but the quality makes up for the price difference.

These filters look like they are really good quality. But they had a chemical odor to them. It smelled like fabric dye. I really didn't want that to be blowing through my entire home through the duct system. It might be fine, but anything that has that kind of chemical smell is a no go for me. Other than that they look like they would be great. They are quality looking. I sent them back simply because of the odor. Such a good price too.

Truth be told, I thought the popular name brand MERV 13 HVAC air filters I had been buying on Amazon were about the best deal possible, optimizing price and quality. However, after taking a close look at the Aulnay brand MERV 13-rated air filters, I’ll be making the switch. What surprised me most was the difference in weight and the number of visible pleats. The brand I had been using weighed in at 122g/filter compared to 218g/filter for the Aulnay brand. Now to be fair, I don’t know where that extra weight comes from. It could just be the cardboard frame, as it definitely has a more rigid structure. However, the Aulnay brand also has a much higher number of visible pleats (23 vs 14), a feature that could certainly impact weight (e.g. more wire backing). But more importantly, I believe the higher concentration of pleats per unit area increases the total surface area that’s available for capturing particles in the air. So based on the number of pleats alone, the Aulnay brand appears to be a superior air filter.There’s yet one other feature that distinguishes the Aulnay brand filter. It’s something that’s stamped on the side of the frame…“Recyclable Waste”. Obviously good for the environment. What about the popular name brand I’ve been using? No mention of recyclable content, so we’ve been sending them to the landfill. Pity shame…but no more with the Aulnay brand stepping up.I’m sure no one will hold it against me that I don’t have the equipment to test the MERV 13 rating. Or the scope to evaluate the quality of the cloth media (possibly charged polyester) that’s at the business end of the filter. After all, that’s what really determines how good or bad a given air filter will perform. So I have to take it on faith that the MERV 13 rating is at least as good as the brand I’ve been using. Because if not, attributes like number of pleats and weight don’t mean a darn thing. For what it’s worth, I can say that by subjective measures like feel and appearance (e.g. thickness & transparency), the quality of the media used in the Aulnay brand is at minimum equivalent to the popular name brand that I’ve been using. But I do wish the Aulnay brand would provide more spec detail in the listing description. Even just confirm what type of media is used, that alone would be helpful for customers. Unfortunately, I'm sorry to say that this is the one concern I do have about the product. Not enough product transparency. But it's easy to correct...please do!I’m really glad I had the opportunity to evaluate the Aulnay MERV 13-rated HVAC air filters. These high quality filters appear to be as good as it gets. High pleat count, sturdy frame, and quality components. And yes, a price that’s competitive and difficult to beat when quality gets factored into the equation. I highly recommend the Aulnay “wioboy” MERV 13 Furnace/HVAC Air Filters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
