Installation is really simple, push connections, just need to disconnect the hoses from the old one and put the new one, no leakages at all.●in description says that, its life span is for about 3-6 months but this depends on how much water is consumed every day as I've read about same filter, same brand it can be used up to 2000 litres of water. So for example if only 10 litres is used per day then it can be used up to 6 monthsAs an advise, is better to write on the filter the date of installation to know when need to be changed.Recommend.
