L'ultima generazione di set per arrampicata Edelrid convince grazie al peso leggero, al design compatto e al comfort senza eguali. Ciò è possibile grazie a un ammortizzatore di nuova concezione. Questo è molto più compatto e leggero rispetto a tutti i modelli precedenti. Allo stesso tempo soddisfa tutti i requisiti della nuova norma per arrampicata e garantisce bassi livelli di impatto, per tutte le categorie di peso. In caso di caduta, l'ammortizzatore di caduta si strappa e assorbe l'energia di caduta che si verifica. La caduta è ammortizzata, riducendo notevolmente il rischio di lesioni gravi.
A causa della norma riveduta per arrampicata del 01.01.2017, i set per arrampicata sono stati notevolmente più grandi e pesanti. I nuovi requisiti (bassi colpi di cattura per tutte le categorie di peso e una distanza di frenata estesa di 2,2 metri) possono essere realizzati solo con ammortizzatori nettamente più grandi. Di conseguenza, anche i set per arrampicata sono diventati molto più pesanti e ingombranti. Per la prima volta siamo riusciti a sviluppare un ammortizzatore a nastro molto più compatto, ma che soddisfa tutti i requisiti della nuova norma. So glad I did some research on via ferrata kit. Looked a quite a few in shops, that were heavier and not as nice to use as these. Well worth the extra bit of money.

Ich habe dieses Edelrid Set zusammen mit einem Salewa Via Ferrata Ergo Core bestellt ("alte" Version mit blauen Karabiner das da für 70 EUR angeboten wurde, https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07KM91BYT).Die Karabiner von beiden sind auf einen halben Zentimeter gleich groß , beide auch mit praktisch dem gleichen System. Bei Edelrid sind die Federn des Mechanismus allerdings einen Tick straffer ... nicht wirklich schwer, das ist eher eine subjektive Frage als tatsächlich ein Vor/Nachteil (das straffere vermittelt ein bißchen das Gefühl von mehr Sicherheit, mir gefallen die leichtgängigen Karabiner von Salewa besser).Das von Edelrid hat die bekannt super kleinen Bandfalldämpfer, die Schlaufe auf der Gurtseite ist da einen Tick enger und der Dämpfer hängt etwas höher. Für mich macht das allerdings kaum einen praktischen Unterschied.Die elastischen Arme von Edelrid sind etwas kürzer und straffer als bei Salewa. Salewa hat in den Armen dazu einen kleinen Längenunterschied, so dass man auf sehr einfachen Passagen einen Karabiner unten in den anderen hängen kann und sich das gleich lang anfühlt. Insgesamt ist die Länge/Reichweite bei Salewa länger, was bei mir mit 1.92m Körpergröße einen Unterschied macht.Das Salewa hat noch eine kleine Tasche zum Verstauen und Transportieren dabei.Die leichtgänigeren Karabiner, die längeren Arme, der Preisvorteil von 30 EUR und die Transporttasche haben für mich dann den Ausschlag für das Salewa gegeben.
