Look ok for the price Draper tools are honest and decent for the costs.

Brilliant set of punches. I use them for centre punching holes in metal before drilling and they work very well. Haven't gone blunt yet and is sharp enough to use as a scribe if i misplace my main scriber. Great value.

I due articoli ad una prima vista sembrano di ottima fattura con buone rifiniture. Sono molto compatti e maneggevoli ma nell'utilizzo ho testato i limiti del materiale utilizzato.. Al primo uso del punzone su una vite 8.8 la punta, piccole ed affilata, si è deformata limitando la funzionalità dell'oggetto. Credo si tratti di un semplice acciaio dolce non trattato termicamente. In realtà esattamente in linea con il prezzo pagato. Per quanto riguarda invece il punzone a testa concava credo che la qualità del materiale influisca meno sulla funzionalità in quanto non l'ho ancora utilizzato. Ho acquistato il prodotto più per uno sfizio che per reale necessità in quanto posseggo già articoli di migliore qualità. Consiglio l'articolo solo a chi ne faccia uso su materiali teneri o al massimo non ferrosi.

For £3 you really can't go wrong! Simple, solid construction. Nice and straight and accurate. The cupped end of the punch is useful to stop it slipping on the head of a nail. You can't get much for £3 but this set is very good value.

I found it surprising how hard it was to find a centre punch or a nail punch available in a local shop. I have both in my toolkit but both have worn with use and time and were due replacement. It was so easy to replace them when I found them on Amazon. Neither item is bulky or heavy but well made and functional.

The pointed one is very useful for starting off drill holes.In the past I'd put a pen mark on the wall where I need to drill and often the drill bit would wander a little before biting so the hole wouldn't be exactly where the mark was.When using the pointed centre punch you can make a nice little hole right on the dot then use that to guide the drill. Simple but very effective.I've not used the flat one much but it is pretty good for getting the nail heads level with the wood - depends on the size of the nail head though.
