Procedura di installazione:
Passo 1. Inserire l'adattatore nello switch KVM; Fase 2. Inserire il cavo DisplayPort e il cavo HDMI nello switch KVM e nel monitor (uscita). Fase 3. Collegare il cavo DisplayPort, il cavo HDMI e il cavo USB allo switch KVM e al computer/laptop (i cavi HDMI e DP non sono inclusi) (ingresso).
Si prega di verificare che l'ingresso HDMI1, l'ingresso DP 1 e USB 1 corrispondano e se l'ingresso HDMI2, l'ingresso DP 2 e USB sono compatibili. L'inserimento misto non è supportato.
Ingresso HDMI1 + ingresso DP 1 + ingresso USB 1 = PC1
Ingresso HDMI2 + ingresso DP 2 + ingresso USB 2 = PC2
Passo 4. Inserire il mouse e la tastiera nello switch KVM. Fase 5. Collegare l'auricolare o il microfono allo switch KVM se necessario. Fase 6. Avviare il computer/laptop.
Nota:
1. Se lo switch KVM non funziona, è possibile spegnere l'interruttore sul pannello e riaccenderlo dopo 2-3 secondi, quindi tornerà alla normalità.
2. Se l'USB non viene riconosciuta correttamente, si prega di utilizzare il cavo di alimentazione in dotazione per collegare il connettore di alimentazione DC5V.
3. La maggior parte dei motivi per cui funziona solo un'uscita video sono connessioni errate. Si prega di assicurarsi che ogni computer sia collegato al KVM tramite 1 cavo HDMI/1 DP.
4. Supporta una visualizzazione estesa o duplicata a seconda delle impostazioni del computer
Risoluzione 4K a 60 Hz
Questo switch KVM HDMI per due monitor con risoluzione massima fino a 4K a 60 Hz offre una migliore risoluzione e chiarezza, rende la visualizzazione dell'immagine più squisita e realistica, i colori più luminosi e agili.
Suggerimenti 1: Si tratta della versione DP1.2 a 60 Hz per il connettore DisplayPort, non è compatibile con dispositivi DP1.4 100 Hz, 120 Hz, 144 Hz.
Consigli 2: Solo se sia la scheda grafica che il monitor del computer supportano 4K@60Hz è possibile ottenere l'effetto 4K@60Hz.

Worked OK except for the lack of the EDID functionality. This means every time I switched between computers, I would have to reposition my windows.Also, the switching accessory never worked.

If you want to connect input 1 from a device with HDMI and input 2 from a device with DiaplayPort and have the choice to output to a HDMI monitor, your input 2 DisplayPort device won't transmit to the monitor when you switch to it. Basically your inputs and outputs must be the same type. All HDMI or all DisplayPort (unless your monitor as both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs and you have all the right cables).There is no smart switching in this KVM. It does not detect what output is connected and channel, or give the option to channel, all the inputs of whatever type to the detected output. Let's face it, it's not a difficult thing to do electronically. It's a cheap switch, but factor in the need and cost for matching cables, or buy a smart switch...

This is a solid KVM switch, while it is a little pricey I think you get what you pay for. Never have any issue with signal going in or out, nor is their any latency issue with the mouse and keyboard. Sure you can find a KVM switch for 25-70 dollars but I think you will also get what you pay for with those units, by which I mean I bet they have terrible quality. This device is solid and dependable. I just wish that it had a higher refresh rate.

At the time of writing this review, the price for this dual monitor setup is £99.99.If you have two computers at home, maybe one for personal computer and one for work. You also have dual monitors, this monitor switch box is perfect for you. It can support HDMI in and DP in from two computers and it outputs via both HDMI and DP ports. You can simply switch the inputs from the function botton at the front of the switch box. In addition, you can supports USB inputs from both computers as well. So you actually get an all in one solution. £99.99 may be a little bit expensive, but considering you actually get a docking station like solution for two computers, it is acceptable.
