Whether you want this as a post-surgery option, or a general seat-belt pillow, it’s a brilliant choice. It’s easy to fit to the seatbelt, it stays in place when you are wearing it and the pocket for a heat/ice pack ice such a fantastic idea ❤️The cushion is comfortable and stops the seat-belt digging in to you. It can be worn either way round. I don’t need the ice pack, so I wear it on the reverse as that has been more comfortable for me.It’s on the bulky side, which is the only drawback for me. I’m just not sure it needs to be as bulky as it is and it can make the taking the seatbelt on and off a bit tricky.However, this is a great item, and it makes wearing a seatbelt much more comfortable for me.

This belt pillow isn't destined to be used for post mastectomy protection but there is a chance that it could be pressed into action as a post heart surgery accessory. I am sure that it will perform that duty adequetly, if the need arises, due to its generous size and thickness, being about 1.5" thick.In the meantime I do have a pressing need for it as some extra back support when sitting in my favourite TV chair. That chair is a bucket seat and never has had great back cushioning and so I have always used a separate cushion to keep my back in good shape. I have yet to find a cushion with the perfect shape, that is thicker at the base and tapering towards the top. This belt cushion is perfect for giving me just the profile that is needed. I can tuck it behind my seat cushion and rest the back cushion I am using on it and then the back of the chair becomes very supportive and comfortable.This item is mainly about protection but also about comfort. If I do end up having the threatened heart surgery I will really value the protection but in the meantime I am enjoying the comfort. £14.99 is a fair deal for the two things this pillow has to offer and could mean that I can get out and about a bit quicker post surgery than otherwise.

I ordered this to promote more comfort in the car as the seatbelts can be very uncomfortable for me. This pillow is very padded and easy to attach. The material is soft and fuzzy. It is not sturdy and doesn’t stay in place whilst driving or whilst being a passenger. It just doesn’t sit correctly for long and that means I’m constantly fiddling with it which I find distracting. Not for me I’m afraid.
