The dark blue velvet material feels pleasant and looks quite smart in the room. It arrived vacuum-packed but expanded to its full size fairly quickly after unwrapping.I find it really useful when I want to sit up and read or just relax on the daybed. It's firm enough that you feel supported, preventing you from slouching too much, yet it's still soft enough to be comfortable for longer periods.I imagine this would work equally well on a regular bed without a headboard, or even just placed on a large sofa if you need some extra cushioning. If you're looking for a simple way to make sitting up in bed or on a daybed more comfortable, this large bolster provides good support and feels nice too. It stays put reasonably well when you lean on it.

Big and luxurious cushion. Give it time to relax from his vacuum packing, and it plumps up lovely. Further stuffing is included should you wish to use it. Comes with some spare buttons and the longest needle you've ever seen! Removeable cover. Mine is all well made. The colour is darker than in the image and less green looking, for which I'm pleased! Great for propping myself up in bed. My son, though, is currently fighting me for it!
