Surprisingly good. Windows 10 had no problem detecting the device, and no drivers were required. Just be aware that you need to plug your audio cables in before it will show up in youu system tray as an output device.The sound volume and quality seems to be equal to that of my motherboard's on board sound card, and with this channelled through my amp, it works really well.

Just build a new PC and motherboards now apparently don't come with 5.1 audio jacks anymore. Very annoying. Thought about a sound card but tried this instead. Works great. No issues and sound quality is very good. No software needed too which is always a plus.

Purchased this as my new motherboard did not have 5.1 surround sound. Worked great with my Windows 11 build and I now have 5.1 Surround sound. There were no drivers that I had to install. It was pure Plug and Play. As a reminder, Windows 11 defaults to Stereo for new sound devices. Make sure you go into "CONTROL PANEL" => "SOUND" in Windows to configure your device speakers (Stereo -default-, quadraphonic, surround, 5.1 surround (side surround speakers), 5.1 Surround (rear surround speakers), 7.1 Surround). I have no problems recommending this USB Sound Card for anyone needing to up their audio game.
