It just works!Pros:Audio quality to signal strength is awesome and the bit rate/sample rate is correct. Zero distortion when going straight into a receiver or dac with spdif. Using both outputs maybe slightly decreases signal strength but barely noticeable. On android type c its recognized as speakers and does the full bitrate if your phone supports it. I got it on my s24 and boy these bring out the dynamics, mids and high are clear and flat.Cons:Processing delay: you will notice 1 or 2 seconds of delay before hearing anything when you stop playing audio and play it again. Does this on pc and android. Not a big issue since that helps eliminate noise when nothing is not actively sending a signal, more of a plus then a con if you value clean audio vs latency.Summary:It works and it works well and its very portable and cheap and does what I always wanted my dacs to do, take my input via usb and just turn it into spdif/toslink so I can share my music with my receivers or amps.

The first time it connected there was a lot of static from one speaker and it just needed the cable plug to be wiped clean. I don't know which piece was the problem!

I wanted an all in one solution for using any pair of headphones across the platforms I have (PC, PS5, Switch). It works great with the PS5. It shows up as a headphone and the audio is different than that coming from an audio extractor, which is designed to be for speakers. It works great with PC too.Sadly, this doesn't work with the Switch, so this cannot be an all-in-one solution for using regular headphones. But if all you need it for is the PS5 or PC, you're golden!EDIT 06-20-2024: This works great on android devices and Windows PCs, except for the Windows Netflix app. I don't know why, but whenever the app sends audio through the device, it makes a very sharp and loud static noise. I was using a Chord Mojo 2, which has an optical input. Most of the time I use USB so I never noticed it until now. I have no idea why this is happening and it only happens with the Netflix app.I did experience this on the PS3 when using Optical to the Chord Mojo2 and that was because the bitrate was too high. That may be what is happening here, but even at the lowest setting in Windows, the noise still occurs. So if you're wanting to use optical audio and Chord gear, beware of the Netflix Windows App.
