Highly recommended. The passenger door handle in our 2012 X5 turned sticky and gooey. It was really annoying as both my wife and I would forget not to grab the passenger handle until it was too late, and there was black goop on our hand as we were riding shotgun. Bought these plastic covers and popped them on in less than 1 minute (all 3 passenger door handles). Fit great and you cannot tell that they are even on there. No more disgusting, goopy hand as you are enjoying a car ride. Highly recommend!

As described. Arrived quickly and worked perfectly. The material on the door handles started melting or breaking down. These were easy to install. Fixed the problem. Would highly recommend.

As my 2007 BMW X5 is getting on in years now, I have had an issue with the interior door handles getting sticky on the back side. Every time my wife shuts her door she gets black sticky rubber on her hand, and it's hard to get off.These clip on covers saved the day. I had to play around with them for a bit before I discovered the best installation method, but once you understand how to get them in the right place it goes fast. The narrow end at the top of the door handle has some sharp points sticking out, I took a wire cutters and just nipped the tip off, maybe 1/16 inch or so. This made it easier to get them pushed up further. You will want to push the top end in first and about as far up as possible. This makes the wide end not overlap the flat part of the door handle. Push them up and start laying the cover down to see where it is going to land. If it is where you want it, finish snapping it on. Start on the top side getting it all in the groove, then roll it down to the bottom groove, pushing in the center of the cover from top to bottom until it snaps all the way under into the groove. Be warned, once they are fully snapped into place, they stay put and are hard to get back off.Great product to solve this problem.

My handles were completely gummed up and were such a mess. The alternative to this was so much work and so much involved. This took no time to snap in place and stay in place too. Wish I had bought these years ago
