Three magnets are fine for stationary cabinets, and it's designed well, however the included screws are so cheap that they strip and also split apart. Twice while trying to install it I had the screw split in half and I had to dig the screw out of the cabinet damaging the wood, which caused more time and effort to repair the cabinet. I just ended up using my own screws.It honestly would have been better if they didn't include screws, and I wouldn't have damaged my cabinets because of them.

First thing I did was lose the screws. I found others that worked. I had ones that kept falling off because of the adhesive but I screwed these in and they work perfect.

According to the item page these magnets can be attached by screws or adhesive. No they can't. No adhesive is provided for the side with the magnets, like you see in the pictures, and even if you supply your own it will not work, because the surface of that piece is not flat, but recessed, so any tape on it would not touch the door frame. Want to attach it with screws? None are provided! I had to build up 4 layers of my own nanotape in the depression to create a flat surface that could be stuck on. If is setting now, so jury is still out on whether that will work. I don't have screws that would fit the pieces, so if I wind up needing to screw them on I will have to make another purchase, effectively doubling the price of the project if I order them from AmazonThus is especially frustrating because I looked so hard for magnets where both sides could be stuck on and made absolutely certain the ad for these said they could be, and the illustration shows the strip of tape that supposedly comes with it. Nope
