This is an excellent guitar! Though it's priced at the higher end of the "budget" spectrum, the build quality, tone, and playability make it well worth it. The understated design and appearance belies its capability as a straight-up shred machine that plays almost perfectly right out of the box.Speaking of the box, the guitar ships in a rectangular single-walled box and is well-protected by a form-fitted styrofoam clam shell. Mine arrived with a significant puncture wound in the box but the guitar itself was fine, so the foam did its job nicely. I have been over the guitar and played it several times; some key observations:Appearance - positives:+ Understated finish: This guitar doesn't have a look that grabs your attention, which initially I didn't love but after a few weeks I've learned to appreciate it's "stealthy" lack of flash. The direct-mount pickups (i.e., no rings) further simplifies this look. The "pearl blue" satin body color just appears pale blue at first glance, but upon closer inspection it has a slightly pearlescent sparkle in the paint that gives it more depth and character than you can see in photos. And it is all flawlessly applied.+ Neck & fretboard: The roasted maple, satin finished neck & fretboard are also understated, but has some nice wood grain that shows through. Plain black dot inlays mark the 2-octave fretboard. And again, flawless application of finish throughout, up to and including the headstock.+ Overall finish: Excellent quality overall; can't find even a tiny cosmetic defect.Appearance - negatives:- Personal preferences: Hard to find anything wrong with its appearance, because it really is flawless. But it's my first guitar with a satin finish and I'm still not sure that I love that look. Also not a huge fan of the 2-tone Eart logo decal under the transparent satin finish on the headstock; just looks cheaper than the guitar's quality justifies. But these are just personal style preferences; nothing wrong with the way they're executed.Functional - positives:+ Factory set-up: This guitar overtakes first place in my collection for being the most playable right out-of-the-box.I did zero setup before testing it and still haven't made any adjustments to-date. In fact, the guitar was *almost* IN TUNE when I opened it up, which has never happened before (and no, it wasn't a return; all the packaging was original and untouched when it arrived). No buzz, no dead frets, action is low and perfect, intonation is spot-on. I mean...just wow!+ Super-smooth tuners: These "Eart custom" factory tuners are right up there with some of the nicest I've used. Very smooth, they hold tune, and they seem to be very precise. Love the full-size gumdrop buttons (not the minis you usually get with 6 in-line machines).+ Great fretwork: Shiny, ball-end, stainless steel frets that are already smooth and appear to be polished. Ends align perfectly all the way out to the edges of the fretboard all the way up and down the board.+ Pots: Volume & tone knobs are smooth and ramp up/down smoothly.+ Hot humbuckers: Extremely articulate humbuckers with bright highs, full mids, and crunchy bottom ends. No screeching at volume nor any signs of being microphonic. Perfect for hard stuff and metal!+ Coil splitting: The extra switch splits the humbuckers into single-coil mode, which converts the sound to more of a traditional "strat" with some vintage brightness. Really makes this a more versatile guitar than your standard humbucker-only shredder axe.+ Custom 2-point tremolo bridge: High-quality factory bridge that seems to hold tune fairly well when doing light vibrato. As with any non-locking trem system, crazy dives are still going to throw things out of tune a bit, but only if you really push it.+ Nut: Appears to be a well-cut bone nut; no replacement or re-filing appears to be needed. So far it works fairly well with the trem to hold tune and will probably be even better once I lubricate it at the next string change.Functional - negatives:- Wish it had a Floyd trem: I got nothing - this guitar is pretty awesome. So I am just going to have to pick on something that I wish it had to make it *extra* perfect. But seriously, I can't find a problem with this thing!Overall, this is an excellent guitar that you can open up, tune, and play within a few minutes of receiving it. Build quality, fit & finish, and setup were all PERFECT, which I've never said in a guitar review before. It's excellent for shredders of course, but would also be an ideal beginner guitar due to the lack of setup, price point, and overall flexibility. You could buy this as your first guitar and not need another one for a very long time (if ever). I would very highly recommended this one!

I was a bit skeptical ordering this guitar since I hadn't heard of the brand, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a very beginner guitar player, but my partner is a professional musician and he was also really impressed with this guitar. The blue is very pretty, almost matte. The stain on the wood neck is also very attractive. It came already strung and only slightly out of tune (impressive considering it was shipped so far!) The packaging was very secure, and it came with tools to adjust the truss rod and an extra set of strings. After tuning it up it was ready to go. The action and intonation were fine out of the box. Overall the guitar is attractive and good quality, plays nicely, and all the electronics work just as expected. My partner says it's a "hot" guitar (a bit louder) but that's not a bad thing. His only very minor note was that the frets are a little short (much better than long!) and the fretwork is good but not amazing - but better than what he'd expect at this price point, his guitars are much more expensive. Overall this is a really nice guitar for the money, much better than most "beginner" guitars - it's nicer than the Squier Stratocaster I had years ago.

I can't stop playing this guitar, it is so much fun. The EART branded EYP-OMNI24 is an amazing guitar, roasted woods for both body and the neck. 24Jumbo stainless steel frets on a compound radius makes it very easy to go up and down the neck. That maple roasted maple neck and fretboard looks outstanding, matches well against the blue body. The action is superb on this guitar; the intonation is set perfectly. The sound of those humbuckers is so fiery, I just want to play all day. At this price, a great value that hits above its price point.
