Actually they double it, and add to the wear you wish to actually measure, which is the wear between the rivets and their next respective chain segments.Well the Pedro's is one af a very few that disregard roller wear. That way you can evaluate the actual wear of the chain itself, and avoid replacing it beforehand.

This is a very well made, laser cut and accurate chain checker. It is one of the very few of these type that stretches the chain when measuring to give a true reading.Recommended.

Da utilizzare con catene Sram che hanno un diametro diverso dei perni dei rulli.Gli altri calibri non forniscono una misurazione attendibile.

Misura la reale usura della catena perché spinge i due rulli nello stesso verso. Gli strumenti più economici spingono i due rulli in direzione opposta e danno una usura eccessiva prematuramente. Spendendo un po' di più in questo strumento ai può usare la catena più a lungo. Alla fine si risparmia. Unico neo è il costo decisamente superiore a quelli standard, troppo per un semplice pezzo di metallo.
