Good AB but I only received it inside ordinary box, case was not included. Also the lid was different in the picture.

Take this with a grain of salt, this is my first airbrush that isn't a cheap knockoff. But this incredible, cleans easy, smooth and doesn't clog easily, consistent flow.I'm sure there are better and more expensive but this was worth every cent to me

This airbrush is of good quality as expected from Badger. And the internal part is interchangeable with sotar. The only problem that i have is the regulator (cover thingy) with the fine conversion. It doesn't screw on the body so well, so the nozzle is behind the opening, which prevents paint from spraying out. It is an easy fix with another same sized regulator.

Beautiful item to hold alone, and great to use. Still getting used to its potential. Just means that I need spray gun cleaner, cleaning station etc - all from Amazon of course...

I purchased the Badger Krome after reading several reviews on youtube and other modelling sites. I primarily do 1/35th scale armor and have been using a Badger Patriot 105 for the last 2 1/2 years. I was intrigued by the Krome's two smaller needle sizes and the trigger limiting device. My Patriot is a fine airbrush, but I had difficulties with panel shading and fading with it's .5 needle size. I found the Krome to be a great solution for those issues as well as weathering. I use the .33 needle principly as the .21 can be finicky with acrylics and tip dry. I get great results and have learned a lot of the last few months to improve my skills. My trigger skills are better, but it is nice to have the rear limiter as insurance against the dreaded SPLAT.The Krome is longer and a tad heavier than my Patriot, but is well balanced and has a smooth trigger pull. I mostly use Tamiya acrylics and Model Master enamels and get excellent finishes using a 1:1 ratio of paint and thinner. Proper ratios and mixing are a little more critical with these smaller needles, but the Krome is very forgiving in this matter. Fit and finish are excellent and like my Patriot, the Krome is a breeze to clean between colors and after a session. Both needles require care when being inserted after cleaning, but not a chore. Parts are reasonably priced and readily available. The Krome is a great airbrush to upgrade to for a scale modeller looking for quality and versatility at a reasonable price.UPDATE: Having used my Krome for about a year now, it is still my go to airbrush and does excellent work. My brush requires careful cleaning of the needle and the sleeve it slides through between sessions. If not, there is sufficent friction to overcome the trigger spring causing the needle to stick in place. I wipe the needle clean with lacquer thinner and lube it prior to any painting session. This is a quirk that my Badger Sotar, Patriot, Patriot 2XR, and Anthem do not have.
