Die USB-Steckdosen machen schon beim Auspacken einen hochwertigen Eindruck.Die Gehäuse bestehen aus Aluminium, das nicht nur die Wärme besser ableitet als Kunsstoff sondern auch optisch edler aussieht.Ich habe die Variante in Small mit dem schmalen Rand, man muss nur ein Loch von 22mm bohren und kann die Steckdose dann montieren. Festgeschraubt wird sie mit einer Mutter von der Rückseite. Wer nicht an die Rückseite kommt oder eine größere Öffnung verdecken möchte, kann zur Large Variante greifen, diese hat eine größere Blende mit 4,5cm Durchmesser und kann von der Front festgeschraubt werden.Man hat je eine USB-A und USB-C Buchse, die 24W liefern können, Power Delivery 3.0 sowie Quick Charge 3.0 werden unterstützt. Schnellladung bei meinem Handy funktioniert problemlos.Ich bin mit den Einbauladern sehr zufrieden und durch die schicke Optik können sie auch ruhig im Sichtbereich verbaut werden.

This is a useful USB outlet for places like a camper van, but you either need to know how to install it properly yourself or get an electrician to do it. Perhaps the price is a little high.

A very neat solution to add 5v charger sockets to a panel powerred by 12v. I am using them on a box I will take camping to provide 200Ahrs from 2 lithium 12v batteries. I will fuse these sockets with a low value fuse and and for additional safety they will be disconect along with other outputs via an isolator switch. They take very little current when not connected so only need to worry about using the switch if the batteries are left for months.Overall please with performance except that for both fittings the c-type sockets would not charge my phone even though the same cable would work with a c-socket on my computer. Tried a number of different cables without success but the c-sockets did work with a battery charger so suspect it is a compatibilty issue with smart charging and my phone. Also disconnecting/connecting the C-type sockets would sometimes cause both sockets to disconnect as if an internal safety power down occurs. To recover the 12v power has to be removed and restored. This will be more importnat for me hence the lower star rating. No problems were found with the A type sockets.
