First time soil block user. Arrived quickly and was exactly as described. Would buy again. Still trying to find the perfect soil recipe for the blocks, but the experimenting is fun. Looking forward to the garden season and the new soil block starters.

OK, so this tool is a wonderful addition to my greenhouse/garden for seed starting. Is it the most cost-effective way to start seeds? No... Is it the easiest way to start seeds? Also no.However, with that being said, the quality is fantastic as it air-prunes seedlings and allows them to stay in a larger soil plot than the tiny 72 tray starter sets. It fits approximately 44 soil blocks into one- 10x20 tray. They will not get root bound, the seeds grow more rapidly and bigger than the tiny tray plots allow them to initially, and they do not require being transplanted into a larger pot quite as early.My recommendation is to use the mesh 10x20 trays and BOTTOM WATER ONLY! If you water from the top, you risk breaking apart the soil blocks.Learning curve: Get your soil SOAKED. find a hard surface (counter, ground, etc. something you can put a good amount of pressure into, like body weight pressure). I use a 10x20 tray filled with wet soil and build a mound taller than the depth needed to fill the blocker. Apply firm, even pressure. from above down onto the mound of soil, press hard into a firm/strong surface while you twist downwards into the soil & kind of wiggle the soil into the blocker. Rinse & repeat again (I do this twice). The extra water should squeeze out of the top of the soil blocker as you apply firm pressure against said hard surface.This resulted in nice, thickly compacted soil blocks that hold together well and don't break apart easily. Just remember, don't top water as the pressure may affect the integrity of the blocks.

Ich bin einfach nur begeistert!!! Es funktioniert sehr einfach und schnell. Das Ergebnis ist super. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und würde es wieder kaufen die Qualität von diesem Produkt ist auch sehr gut. Ich hätte mir schon viel früher so ein Teil zulegen sollen!!!

Funziona ma bisogna stare attenti al tipo di terreno. Se si prova con un mix di fibra di cocco e terra bisogna stare attenti al giusto grado di umidità. Se troppo bagnato le forme scivolano fuori, se troppo asciutto non penetra. Inoltre l'impugnatura fa male, servono i guanti per non tagliarsi.
