You can purchase lights for your boat that range in price from almost nothing to extremely expensive. These lights are a great value that are well made and easy to install. This is one of two lights made by Black Oak that I own. The company obviously takes pride in their well built products that are easy to install and built to last.The light itself comes with plenty of wire to get the splices out of the weather in a dry location. It is bright enough to allow me to tie up gear before dawn while fishing but not so bright that it’s overwhelming. I used it on my drift boat but it would work well for a bunch of marine applications from courtesy, cabin or cockpit lights to beck lights on a smaller boat. They are a very good option as a single light to illuminate a set of controls or a rigging station. Using several lights they are bright enough to illuminate your boat’s cabin or aft deck.A good value for good quality lighting.

Using a pair of these under my center console. They appear to be made well and are pretty bright!

I installed this accent light inside the cab of my RZR, I choose this Marine item as I liked the white housing, and it matches the rest of my RZR. The instructions are nicely detailed making it easy for everyone including the beginners to install these lights. The light housing itself is thick metal construction with a nice powder coating finish. The light is very bright for its size and bright compared to other lights that are similar in size. I personally love this brand as I have two of their light bars and couple pods from Black Oak and haven't had any issues with any of my lights, and they all are very bright. I would put this brand up against Rigid lights all day long as the light output of Black Oak lights are the same as comparable items from this other manufacturer but at a fraction of the price!

I was impressed with this light. Right out of the package you can see how well made the item is. The main lighting part is completely enclosed and the backing is a rubber mount for affixing to your preferred location. The electronics are protected and this makes a great accent light. The only downside is that there were no instructions. It's perhaps a small thing, but it took a second to see how the rubber part aligns with the main lighting feature, so maybe a little visual instruction on that would be good. Likewise, there is no clarification about the lighting voltage or preferred care. While this may be intuitive, it could be a problem for those who are not mechanically inclined. However, it was intuitive enough that I think most people will figure it out or can easily find help. Ultimately, nice light!

This light is very solid and comes with a fitted rubber mounting piece that fits like a glove. The light looks great and is very stylish. It will make a great addition to my pontoon boat I'm refurbishing. I put a 9 volt battery on it to check the light and it's bright even with the lower voltage. The wire is long enough to mount in most places on a boat without the splice being in view. With it being LED, it should last a long time. Overall I'm very satisfied, the only thing left to test is the longevity, and only time will tell!
