This was so easy to assemble, didn't need any tools and instructions were minimal and simple to follow. It is very sturdy and glides along. Very comfortable too! I am mobility challenged and can stand for only short periods of time. This stool makes it easy for me to be in the kitchen and prepare meals and wash dishes. Also helpful in the bathroom to wash my hair in the sink. It is very maneuverable and takes up no space! I'm so happy I decide to purchase this stool!

I bought this to put my feet up on at my desk, so I'm not really all that concerned with it for sitting. It seems like it should be fine for that, at least for short term use. But what I really care about is using it as a foot stool.Height adjustment is excellent, it can get as low as the seat of my office chair, and as high as the top of my desk. Plenty of range to find just the right elevation for my feet, and it's even able to go low enough to slide under the desk with my feed on top of it. It's also wide enough that I don't feel like my legs are going to slide off the sides if I don't cross them (which I don't really like to do). So it fits my use case pretty excellently.It's a big seat, and it's really thick too. The foot ring is solid, no movement or bending, and the over all construction seems excellent. I did not use the include wheel, though from a quick look they appeared to be above average. I usually don't write reviews right away with new products, but there isn't a lot to test here. I'll update this review if I have any issues, but I honestly just don't think I will. The only negative I can really think of is that the handle to control the height is a little small, so you kinda hunt for it with your hand a bit when you need it, and since the stool is symmetrical you don't actually know which side it's on. Also, and this isn't even a valid criticism: You need a lot of weight to lower it, I knew that would be the case though but it's something to keep in mind if you got it for your feet like I did. If you plan to sit on it, this won't be an issue at all.Edit: Over a year later, no new issues. It's working great. I've even sat on it a few times and it's surprisingly comfortable for a stool. Probably not good for long-term sitting given the seat's lack of contour, but perfectly fine for when I need it. The foam is thick and firm, so it doesn't bottom out or anything like that. I ended up buying a second one for my wife when I bought her a vanity. She has no complaints either.

I got this to facilitate sitting at a multi-keyboard set-up, where the keyboards are at different heights. The seat arrived promptly and was well packaged. Assembly took all of two minutes. The foam padding in the seat is quite firm, though compresses a bit after you have been sitting on it for a while. On the other hand, i was able to sit comfortably on this while playing the keyboards, for over an hour. All the components seem to be well made and look good in place. The additional height that it can reach is high enough that my feet don't touch the floor, but the height is very useful and easily adjusted. My only reservation is that you need to sit in the centre or it will tip to the side you are on. Otherwise, this is exactly what I needed, and I would recommend it to anyone who would benefit from the bench-style seat as opposed to the usual round seat on adjustable stools. Good value!

It's so just-right for us that after 2 months of kitchen usage, I bought a 2nd one for the bathroom vanity. Will also use it at my desk and digital piano. This says a lot considering the arduous 4 year journey to find the optimal work stool (can't stand for long periods).
