Firstly this thermal swimsuit is put together really well.All of the material panels are double stitched for reinforcement. Consider the tightness required for this swimsuit it is very unlikely to split. Places that require a bit of stretch like the arm, leg holes they used zigzag stitching allow for expanding of the material. The zipper used for the zip up back is a some sort of composite plastic so it smoothly zips up and down. There is backing panel behind the zipper so the zipper does not rub on your back. The neoprene used feels very smooth - so very simple to get on.Now the fit... (7-8 yr old sizing)My 8 old son is about average height, slightly above average weight. The swimsuit is fairly tight on him - he was able to squeeze into it. So if you child is off average or below height or average or below average weight this swimsuit would be perfect.Due to the fitment size issue (our cause) we were unable to test out how warm the swimsuit would be in cooler waters. I can say the thickness and the quality of the suit should be fairly good compared to previously owned thermal swimsuitsThe printing seems to have been done really well and is unlikely to wear off or peel. The branding "label" may peel as that seems like a vinyl stick on.I have to say I am extremely happy with the quality of the item, I am likely to order a size up for my child to have.

The item is at least two sizes smaller than the information in the product description ... The seller didn't offer any refund, just accepted a return to China which I have to pay for ... AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!
