This is exactly the product I was searching for. Sits flat against the rucksack strap ready for use in case of emergency.

This is a ridiculously loud whistle. I also really like that it's slim-line. I bought it to replace the Acme Tornado 2000 which was just taking up too much space in my first aid kit. This whistle is ear-poppingly loud just like the '2000, and shaves off a lot of the bulk. Would definitely recommend it for camping/trekking/survival/disaster kits. Nice bright colour too. Nothing bad to say about it.

It's very loud and shrill while remaining compact and easy to blow. It's also very simple and seems hard to break. If you want something that fits that description, this one might be for you.
