Be careful anything to make a sale. Do not fit a Jeep Liberty Limited 2005. Keep the box you may have to return it.Now the product come brand new with bulbs. Do not know if they work. Have your own just in case. I did.

Worked great on my 2007 jeep liberty sport trim (sport trim= has black bumper around). Easy to install for someone who does not know a whole lot about cars but knows how to google! I had replaced a burned out brake light so I knew the problem was not the lightbulb. Could see damage to lightbulb housing (the round piece that the lightbulb plugs in to) and black circuit board (the black board that the three housing/lights plug in to). Tried replacing the burned housing with a working housing from other side of jeep to see if that was the problem. Brake light still didn't work so I now assumed the problem was in the circuit board. Replacing the whole tail light assembly also means the circuit board is replaced so that's why I bought this item on amazon. Problem solved. I'm sure I saved myself quite a bit of money at the mechanic! Looks EXACTLY like the one I replaced.Hardest part is finding a star shaped screwdriver the right size to get the old taillight assembly off and the new one on (I happened to have one in a cheap tool kit I bought years ago). Also, the screws on the left side are much harder to reach because the trunk door is in the way. (Right side is way easier to fix!)

Perfect fit for a fraction of what I would have paid at the dealer. Took 5 minutes to change out, switch bulbs over and I was good to go.

This was a perfect fit for my Jeep Liberty. It is very easy to replace the unit with a torx screwdriver. No problem with the plastic color matching to the undamaged unit.
