Questa piastra Arca Swiss è solida come un carro armato,... ma pesa altrettanto,... ben 95g (ovvero un quarto del mio intero corpo macchina Sony A6100).Inoltre ATTENZIONE!... la sua ghiera di chiusura è talmente ingombrante,... che può impedire alla piastrina di spianare per bene su un eventuale rail Arca Swiss.Restituita!

My use for this might be a little different to some people's. I bought the amazing Velbon Super 8 monopod which is tiny, lightweight but extends to a huge size. However it is only fitted with a male thread to screw directly into the camera tripod mount. As I use the Peak Design system and tripod plate (Arca Swiss style) it would have meant removing this each time I needed to use the monopod, then reinstalling it afterwards. I could use the lightweight ball head from my travel tripod but thats a bit of faff.I saw this item on Amazon and asked the question - will it fit my monopod. I got several answers to say yes but none explained how. I took the chance and bought this item and it fits fine. My query, which was unanswered was that the monopod has a male thread and so does this quick release platform. However, this platform is connected using a fitted screw in the top which protrudes from the bottom to form the mount. The screw is easily removed and this leaves a 2 sided thread on the mount. You simply screw in the monopod from the bottom instead.The item is well machined from metal and has 3 very usable spirit levels built in. These are on the outside (2 on the platform and the third on the tightening nut). Most heads have spirit levels which are usually hidden once a camera is on, making them difficult to use but these are very clear. The platform easily fits my arca swiss style Peak Design plates. Be aware the item does not come with a plate so you will need to have your own or buy one separatelyThis is not a 'head' but it does pretty much the same thing for me. The ain difference is that it doesnt include the ball device for angling or adjusting the camera position. ON a monopod this isnt an issue as it is so easy to twist or tilt the whole thing. The only thing I can't do it angle for a portrait style shot, but I would rarely use a monopod for this (and would use an L bracket in that case). It would also be ideal to modify a tripod ball head to accept Arca Swiss type pates, for example a Manfrotto RC2 or a generic headObviously this platform adds weight to my ultra lightweight monopod, but it increases its usability so much.The quality metal construction, 3 usable spirit levels, large rubber cladded tightening knob, relatively light weight and very low price, not to mention how adaptable it is make this a clear bargain, and it just isnt possible to give less than 5 stars

Installé sur un Canon 100-400m, ça ne bronche pas.Vraiment super pratique.JE recommande.

ottimo prodotto , preso per avere una piastra sempre disponibile sulla testa del cavalletto avendo 3 reflex . evito cosi di smontare la piastra ogni volta che mi serve. tempistica di consegna di Amazon sempre puntuale. unico appunto dolente il corriere che non ha suonato e mi ha infilato il pacco nel tubo della pubblicità in posizione precaria. chiunque passi .può vederlo e raccoglierlo. consiglio al corriere di suonare e perdere 15 secondi di tempo

Ho acquistato questa piastra per agganciarla al supporto del mio teleobiettivo, ben realizzata con materiali di ottima fattura. Prezzo/qualità veramente imbattibile. Compatibile al 100% con la testa a sgancio rapido della Manfrotto.

Works well, solid product.

Rispetto a un altro pezzo di un'altra marca ma che dovrebbe essere sempre uguale, appare più robusto perché la "pinzatura" combacia e stringe meglio la piastra della fotocamera e non ha gioco con le due vitine di fissaggio. Perfetto.

La placa es correcta. Buena construcción y sólida.El único problema es que en las imágenes aparece perfectamente un hueco de llave allen en medio del tornillo que aprieta. En la placa recibida no aparece dicho hueco. Precisamente había escogido esta entre otras clónicas por este detalle :
