This fiour-pack of picture hanging wires will hold up over 50 lbs apiece so matted, framed photos and paintings should be no problem for them. They're decently long, too - the heavy-duty wire is over 3 feet and you can cinch it in to be shorter simply by pulling any excess through the holes in the end pieces.I will say it would have been cool to have the tiniest modicum of instruction with them. Just as you can easily make the wire shorter, it will pull right out of the end pieces if you just try to hang them as-is. I suppose you're meant to tie a knot at the end or otherwise attach something to stop the wire at the appropriate length. It's not rocket science. I figured it out - I just don't know whether it's "right". I'm not terribly worried my lightweight print will fall and if it does, it will hit carpet - no worries.Just the littlest bit of instruction would have made it 5 stars.

We recently framed a bunch of maps that were quite heavy. We decided to use picture hanging wire instead of using the fastener on the frame and a nail. These hangers are very sturdy and the adjustable feature is nice. This hanging wire would not work for lighter or smaller prints. I would recommend!
