Being an aquarist and having either high tech or low tech planted tanks, we know that these plant weights are absolutely ESSENTIAL and are a necessity, especially for stem plants! I've used several different kinds, including the rope kind, and even though it's great, malleable and served its purpose, I still prefer to use these.✅ very soft and malleable— you don't need to bruise your fingers or use pliers to bend these and shape them. they're very soft and bendable, but also hold their shape firmly. not too soft, not too stiff. perfectly right in the middle.✅ nice quantity— for the price you get a decent amount! considering that these are easy to blow through and often times get stuck and lost in the substrate and forgotten, it's nice to have plenty in stock and on hand without having to dig back through your tank to retrieve any that you'd already used. we've all done it though! lol!✅ nice wide width— i love that these have a good width to them, as opposed to some that are extremely thin. when using these on thinner stemmed plants, it's nice to have more surface area to hold the stem in place, and cor me, because i also use foam underneath. them and to separate the stems, the width assists in holding the foam in place.✅ good weight— even though these feel very light in your hands, they have a good weight to them that will definitely keep your plants down and rooted. their feel is deceiving in terms of their weight.🔷️OVERALL: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS——————————♡these are exactly what i needed, and exactly what i prefer to keep on hand at all times, when having and maintaining planted tanks. they're useful not only for stem plants, but all kinds of plants as well. the edges are not sharp, so they won't cause damage to the plants, and if there's concern for that, you can always use foam, just like i do. the foam is cheap and easy to use (i purchased a roll of crafting foam and cut the foam into strips). you don't need to purchase pre-cut foam, just get a roll and you can make them any length and size you please! you're welcome. lol. i love these weights and they just give that extra touch of professionalism if you sell aquatic plants, as well. you just can't go wrong with them! ill be purchasing about 3 more packs, just to make sure that i have plenty on hand cor when i need them ♡

Perfect for my use in a small aquarium yo hold down new plants. Very soft and easy to bend or roll around the plants.
