This is a pack of two ear defenders. They fold up quite small which is good if you’re going to the range and have a lot to carry.They’re made very well but the ear part isn’t padded all that much. The padded part is quite stiff too but it means they’ll probably last longer than the super soft fabrics.I couldn’t hear very much at all while I was wearing them and what I could hear was very muffled.They fold down after use but quite unevenly so need a bit of manipulation. It’s a good price for two pairs though so value for money.

These are really good ear defenders. The SNR 34 dB rating means that they are supposed to reduce the noise level by 34dB. I cannot objectively state whether they do that or not but they certainly reduce the noise by a very significant amount and most likely meet the claim.They are reasonably comfortable to wear. The ear pads are a plastic coated sponge like material and are fairly comfortable but also provide a good seal around your ears. The side arms are adjustable and so these would suit almost all head sizes. The amount of tension in the arms is about right. Certainly on the tighter side but I think this means the ear defenders seal well to do a good job.I am using these mainly for shooting (guns typically produce noise up to 140dB) but will also wear them for lawn mowing and lawn mowers are surprisingly noisy. (Mine is up to 98dB whereas up to 85dB is described as a safe level)These are not what I would describe as high quality ear defenders but they are reasonable quality and do the job. Given that you currently get 2 of these for £17.99 with a 10% voucher (£16.20) I think these are great value at their current price. I have given them 5 stars because of their value for money characteristics. You can pay more and potentially get higher quality ear defenders however these do the job and are at a more affordable price point.

Seit jahren nutze ich auf der Arbeit und zu Hause eigentlich 3M Perlator 3 Gehörschutz Kopfhörer. Einer ist mir nun gebrochen und es musste ein Ersatz her. Dieses 2er Set war für mich von den Angaben in der Artikelbeschreibung ausreichend, also bestellte ich es. Habe es zuerst einen zu Hause genutzt wenn ich mit der Tauchkreissäge Bretter zugeschnitten habe. Vom Dämpfungswert habe ich keinen Unterschied zum Perlator 3 Gehörschutz feststellen können. Der Sitz und die Polsterung dieses Gehörschutzes empfinde ich persönlich sogar angenehmer.Habe den anderen dann mit zur Arbeit genommen (Tischlerei) um ihn auch dort unter verschärften bedingungen zu testen. Arbeite im Maschinenbereich oft an der CNC, der Formatkreissäge und der Plattensäge. An allen drei Maschinen war die Dämmunf für mein Empfinden sehr gut. Selbst das tragen über mehrere Stunden habe ich nicht als unangenehm empfunden.Wo auch dieser Gehörschutz eher ungeeignet ist, wenn man auch noch eine Schutzbrille trägt (z.B. beim Fräsen). Dann drückt es doch nach einiger Zeit schon etwas. Für den Fall nehme ich dann aber In-Ear Gehörschutze, die für den Einsatz an der Tischfräse ausreichend. sind.Bin insgesamt begeistert vom bequemen Sitz und der guten Dämmung. Zudem ist der Kaufpreis mit knapp über 20 Euro für das 2er Set auch noch recht günstig, wenn ich den Preis mit meinen anderen vergleiche, wo ein Gehörschutz über 40 Euro kostet. Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne für mich.
