Had the usual folding / book type cover, such a pain to keep taking the Passport out at various checkpoints. Saw this slip cover and it's made everything so simple but safe when travelling. I got the red, then came back and got this black one for my husband. Love it.

Non posso giudicare la sua capacità di schermatura RFID in quanto non ho avuto modo di provarla. Posso però dire che materiali sono molto buoni e il passaporto entra perfettamente al suo interno. Spedizione ottima come sempre da parte di Amazon. Consigliato

I bought this primarily to have a cover to protect my passport from wear and tear in pockets and in my bag.I already have an older cover that holds the passport by the front and rear covers and allows me to open the passport while still inside the cover. However, it is now a requirement to remove a passport from any cover and pass the passport to the immigration officer for inspection, at every airport that I have passed through for the past 15 years or so.Taking that into account, this passport cover is ideal, and practical. It seems to be of a nice quality and is convenient to use.As for having RFID blocking, I am not convinced that it is necessary (eg how easy is it for someone to steal my details in a useable format?). I also have no way of testing the effectiveness of this feature, but that was not a primary consideration for me in making this purchase.UPDATE: Sept 2020: I have just bought another of these and I notice that the new design has a second "outside pocket" which I find useful for a few receipts and my boarding pass. I now have a phone with NFC and a couple of apps that allow me to test the RDID blocking - it works perfectly on my passport and a credit card, in either the inside or outside pocket.
