Bought these to replace a worn locking device in my Ford Focus. The bonnet latch would no longer work as the ends had rounded off. Once the locking mechanism was removed as this was refitted the latch worked absolutely fine again.

Having had my bonnet fail on me twice and having to pay a mechanic to open it, I thought I'd give it a go myself. It's usually not the lock or mechanism itself that is faulty, but it's the plastic connector. Getting into a bonnet that is shut, isn't that easy, but Youtube videos are available. Anyway, got into my bonnet by following the videos and saw this clip was the problem. Pulled the broken one out from the lock and mechanism and put this one in. Not that easy putting it in and you will need to help it in, but this does the job. Very pleased with my purchase and the quality. I now have a spare for when my bonnet goes again....if it does of course.
