I have bought other raincoats like this before, and sure they work well, but these are of a much better quality. The material is thick, the closures stay in tact, and best of all, my big guys ears don’t get wet and infected.

After reading the description I bought this for my girl who suffers really badly with ear infections so she could continue to do hydrotherapy. Swimming should be taken off of the description as the only thing it successfully managed to do was fill with water. I gave 3 stars purely because it's well made and I can see it would be ok for showers and wet walks

I have mixed feelings about this set of 2x bathing caps for dogs. Although the bathing caps do help protect your dog's ears, the waterproof material is a bit crinkly, and when water hits the fabric, it's a bit loud, which scares my dog. I like the adjustable toggle, as this ensures a snug fit and reduces the chance of water getting in; personally, I found the caps to be a bit too long, as my dog has a chunky neck that needs cleansing, so I rolled up the cap to the bottom of her head. I found that if I placed a material headband under the waterproof bathing cap, this helped reduce the water noise, and my dog was a bit less scared and jumped when the water hit the material, and we were able to work past it. But if you have an anxious, noise-sensitive, jumpy, etc., dog, this might be an issue. The price at the time of review is £7.99, which for 2x adjustable bathing caps that effectively keep water out of your dog's ears, thus preventing ear damage and risk of infection, is quite reasonable. I just wish they were made out of softer or less noisy material.

This is a product that I had never thought of before... I have always had dogs with "standy up" ears but I currently have a floppy eared dog staying with me and she has a history of ear infections. In the past I've used cotton balls in the ears to protect them but this protector is a much safer solution in my opinion. Each of the open ends has a drawstring closure with a spring-button fastener so you can make each end as loose or as snug as you feel necessary. The fabric is water resistant. The dog didn't seem to mind wearing it although she definitely minded being bathed. These come in a 2-pack, which is great because we needed to wash three dogs and one of them put up quite a struggle and water ended up getting inside of the collar by the end of the second bath so we grabbed the second protector. NOTE: that was not the fault of the protector - I hadn't tightened it as much as I should have and the dog REALLY didn't want to get clean.I notice that the description says these can also be used to protect dogs ears in cold weather.... we haven't had bad weather yet since receiving these, but that seems like an excellent idea. Our dogs with the standy-up ears hate walking in the wind because those big ears act like wind scoops so we will definitely be trying these out for weather use as well.Overall, these are something that I think I'll get a lot of use out of - for bath time and for inclement weather. Five stars all the way!

Neither of my dogs like bathtime, but they particularly hate the water going on their faces and in their ears. One of my dogs is also prone to ear infections, so we have to be really careful to make sure that his ears are completely dry after a bath. These dog shower caps have just made bathtime so much easier. They're easy to put on and you can use the toggle to ensure that the cap fits your dogs' head without leaving any gaps for water to get through. You can then get on with bathing them, and rinsing them off, using the cap to protect their ears as you go.I've been looking for something like this for a while, and I'm so glad I got them to try. I can't recommend them highly enough.
