When I use the chalk I can use it from the sleeve that it came with. That part is most convenient, the only thing that I have an issue with is that the chalk is a little more brittle than I expected. When using it some little chunks break off the main piece.

Thought it would be easier to mark fabric for cutting, but if the fabric is too stretchy it barely works. Also, it breaks off easily. I will be looking for something else.

I've ordered different brands of tailor's chalk before and they would chip/break if you even looked at them the wrong way. This chalk is very durable, which I was looking for! Very nice to use for marking.
