Trying to fit the adapter to a GoPro Hero 9 Black was difficult. It was hard to push the camera fingers into the slots of the adapter. It took a lot of effort to get the adapter to fit and it was impossible to pivot the camera. There is a very high risk of breaking the camera's fingers. I measured both a genuine GoPro mount and these adapters with an electronic vernier calliper. I found that the adapter centre section was 0.30 mm wider than the GoPro mount. The Slots were 0.28 mm narrower than on the GoPro Mount. Both fingers on the GoPro camera are 3.05mm thick and the slot on the adapter is 2.85 mm wide. so a minimum of 0.20mm needs to be filed away for the adapters to fit onto the camera as they should. The gap between the fingers of the camera is variable as they hinge into recesses within the body and so the extra thick centre section isn't so much of a problem.I've given the adapters 3 stars as there is nothing that a bit of filing with a thin file couldn't put right. But it would have been preferable to have been able to use these adapters without having to modify them. Especially if you don't have suitable files to hand.In case some people are wondering about the material of the adapters as the section only states stainless steel and some brands of these adapters are solid metal. Stainless steel refers only to the screw components. The body is plastic with a metal insert in the base for a tripod to screw into, and the handle of the thumbscrew is plastic. Just like the GoPro mounts.
