Great material, and the colour (burgundy) is true to the picture

First impression, I love the fabric and have already ordered another color and am looking at the matching robe. The quality of the fabric is very good, I washed the nightgown as soon as I got it (delicate wash in cold water with baby wash and hang to dry), excellent results with no pilling. The tag says hand wash for best results, but it seems ok on the delicate cycle, we’ll see how long it lasts. I ordered the navy, and it is a beautiful true navy, classy and elegant. With that said, I noticed a few reviews here mentioned that they ordered the nightgown to wear as a slip dress, even using it for events. I would think twice about that if that is your intention. The fabric is soft and lovely, however, it has a very clingy feel to it and quite body conscious. Personally, I wouldn’t feel comfortable at all wearing it out in public. The other issue is that it’s very low cut. Yes, it has adjustable straps, but it’s so low to begin with that you can only adjust them so far. It’s more of a straight cut than I had anticipated, and quite fitted in the hip area, also showing off the belly if you have one. Just something to keep in mind., it’s not a forgiving design and would definitely show panty lines as well. I typically wear a S-M in dresses or a size 6 and I ordered the medium, which was sizing up for me. Again, very clingy and shows every curve. If I had sized up to a large, I think it would’ve been way too big in the bust, I am a pear shape. Five stars for the color, quality, and comfort, perfect for my needs as a cooling, breathable nightgown, a necessity since I live in a hot climate. Excellent find!

The strap broke one wear

This nightgown does exactly what I want it to do. I sleep cool and will by others. the fabric is soft and the style is very lovely.
