This Neck/Shoulder Strap arrives in a non-branded, gripseal style, plastic bag. Inside the bag is just the strap with the two anchors attached. The material for the strap is relatively soft but strong, however there is no additional padding or protection, so whilst comfortable when using light items for short periods of time, heavier items or prolonged use may get uncomfortable. The strap is 3.2cm wide and cane be adjusted in length from 1.01m to 1.67m (including anchor loops). This is long enough to allow you to use it as either a neck strap or shoulder strap. The description states this strap “Features dual length quick adjusters for one-hand length adjustment”., but it doesn’t. There is no mechanism for one handed adjustment, the buckle is just a standard buckle. The description also states that “The adjustable shoulder binocular strap double buckles are made of heavy-duty metal and can withstand up to 30kg”, but the single buckle for adjusting the strap is just made from plastic. It should also be noted that the buckle for adjusting the length of the strap has no locking mechanism either.According to the description, “this camera strap includes an underarm stabilizing strap to prevent shifting”, but no such underarm strap is included. So there is no form of stabilization to aid with comfort and to prevent shifting. The plastic side release buckles seem very secure, as do the anchor loops. Testing by hand, I was unable to yank them apart by brute force. Unfortunately, due to the small size of the side release buckles, it is actually a lot harder than it should be to pinch and release the anchor loop section, especially for those with larger hands/fingers..In conclusion, this is a basic, but reasonably well made neck/shoulder strap. In terms of comfort it is probably an improvement over any strap that comes with cheap binoculars/cameras, but probably not any improvement over the straps that come with reasonably priced (or above) mainstream branded equipment. The only advantage it might have over these is the extra length (so that it can also be used as a shoulder strap), and the side release buckles ( so that you can remove your equipment from the strap easily). However, this strap is not as described, and is missing three pretty important features that it is advertised as having. Namely the dual length quick adjusters (for one-handed length adjustment); the heavy duty metal buckles, and the underarm stabilizing strap. As such, there is only one score I can give it.~ Ethics Statement: Amazon provided me with this product to review and asked in return that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. That’s what I’ve set out to do in this review, so I hope you found it helpful. ~

It's pretty good and I've got somebody trustworthy to attempt to 'snatch' my camera and the strap held up just fine. I would not use this on a heavy camera or with a heavy lens though - not due to any weakness and more because the strap causes some friction. Not much worse than the free manufacturers one, but if your looking for additional comfort, this doesn't really offer it. It does feel like a decent strength though if comfort is second to security and your on a budget, not bad!
