Bought these in 2020, 5 years on I still don't have any complaints. Easy to set up, worked well always, fast lag free connection. Would recommend. Pretty good value for money, and not all that big either.

I had a bit of trouble pairing them. There isn't anyway to download software to ensure it is working.

My router is upstairs, but my Xbox and Apple TV, the two main entertainment and internet connected devices in the house, are downstairs. Usually they work fine, but on the occasion the Wi-Fi signal crawls to a halt and either games end in frustration or videos are left half watched.I'd spent some time researching different options and was almost set on buying new routers (£250) for around the house, but at £55 and with a promise of being easy to set-up and reliable, I thought I'd try these first.And I'm so glad I did. They work perfectly, were very simple to set-up and they improved my latency and download speed to match what the router upstairs is rated to achieve.*** Pros ***- Very easy to set-up (see photos for guide)- Started working straight away- Improved speeds immeasurably- Reduced latency for games and provided a general improvement on responsiveness- Great value for money- Can connect up to two devices for output- You won't lose a plug space- Works in double plug sockets- Worked for me between floors- Comes with good quality short network cables- Comes with good easy to follow instructions- Haven't tested this, but you can add more units to spread the network further*** Cons ***- Quite a large unit- Lights are hard to see*** Recommendations ***- There are 'faster' units in this range, but the reality is that unless you are connecting a lot of devices through these plugs, or going to use a lot of plugs, you're never likely to need them- Switch off the Wi-Fi on any devices that you connect to. They won't need it anymore and it reduces the 'calls' to your Wi-Fi network and reduces congestion

I bought these to set up a network for my son's room upstairs as our wireless signal for his room isn't great. I was surprised by how easy these are to set up. Connect one end by cable to your modem/router , other end connect network cable to your device , switch both on , press pair button on the one connected downstairs then on the one upstairs and within seconds you have a wired connection. Speeds are very good and I have had no dropouts. The devices go to sleep if not in use and take a couple of seconds to wake up but again no problems. To get the best possible speeds I would recommend plugging straight into the wall but they do work with an electrical extension. Also with 2 ports on the top you can connect multiple devices at the same time. I have mine connected upstairs to a network hub and have had no issues with this either.
