Was die Bezeichnung Lüfterlos bedeuten soll, erschließt sich mir nicht. Sofort mit Kabelanschluss geht das Gerät an und die Lüfter beginnen zu laufen, obwohl noch kein Netzwerkkabel eingesteckt war.Das Gerät wurde aus diesem Grund retourniert.

Der Switch wird als lüfterlos angepriesen, tatsächlich sind jedoch mindestens zwei Lüfter verbaut, welche zudem deutlich hörbar ihre Arbeit verrichten. Damit entspricht das Produkt nicht den in der Beschreibung respektive Überschrift erzeugten Erwartungen eines lautlosen Betriebs. Zwei Sterne Abzug.

I had a problem with my earlier POE switch (Hikvision) installed sometime back. Even though the old POE switch power rating was ok on paper, the power from old POE switch not sufficient, as IP cameras used to get dropped randomly. The suspect was power available from POE switch. Hence decided to buy this 16 port switch for 14 cameras (about 10 W each). This switch has enough power for that and some capacity to spare. TheIP cameras no longer drop and recognized quickly as soon as power is on. Also setup was pretty easy and there are LED indicators for status of ports as well as power overdrive etc, which are very useful.
