è vuotoIl morsetto largo 140 mm stabilizza lame pieghevoli. Centra e fissa lame coniche. Arresto aggiuntivo per coltelli larghi, come ad esempio le accette da cucina. Attraverso un movimento tra le due battute si può formare una lama leggermente convessa. Morsetti in zinco pressofuso, fermate in materiale composito. La maggior parte del peso è distribuita sui morsetti, consentendo un processo di levigatura particolarmente ben bilanciato. Scivola a basso attrito e quindi molto flessibile lungo il supporto universale.

I’ve only use a couple times over the standard knife jig but haven’t 100% seen the value in it over the normal jig yet. I had a longer knife that was very think that even this wasn’t holding well and allowed extra tip flex where I thought this added size would avoid. In fairness though the knife would have been a challenge in anything given the cheaper quality most likely. For the higher end knives though where size isn’t an issue I haven’t been able to really use this over the standard jig with any noticeable benefit noticed yet. Well built though, like all Tormek products, and know it will hold up well.
