top ranking dj session volumes 1 and 2

I have Vol. 2 on LP and was excited to find this on CD. This is the first set I have from DOCTOR BIRD and I am impressed. First, the music sounds great. Disc 1 is loaded with Foundations DJs. Disc 2 is pure RubADub niceness. The lineup goes from little known/recorded artists like Weedy Dread to greats like Trinity, chanting on bubbling versions of classic riddims. The package has informative notes on the artists and scans of 45 labels. All in all a highly recommended set. But I will go one step further and say Doctor Bird is now a buy with confidence label for me.

ジョウギブスから出ていたアナログレコードはとても素晴らしいアルバムでしたがそこから少し削り目一杯入れたCD です。2枚44曲。一枚目は1977年78年まさにハードコア狂気を漂はすスカンキンです。2枚目は78年79年徐々にベースの音がラブアダヴ風になります。世界中に喋りを音に乗せるスタイル、仏教などのお経が古くから有ったと思いますがその技術の頂点最高に立った瞬間の録音。マイルスのパンゲアアガルタを思い出してしまいます。

I have over 700 reggae albums and thought I'd try to get into DJ, Dancehall, and other genres of reggae.This is a two-cd reprint of two late 70's albums that were released as vinyl many years ago and are now available once again. The first cd is melodic DJ's riding rhythm over songs and is very good for novice listeners seeking to get into the genre who love classic reggae. The second album is not as strong, but a great introduction to early DJ's before the rise of more slack lyrics and messages of the early and late 80's.I-Roy, Trinity, Dillinger, Mikey Dread, and other notables are on these albums. Great value and a good place for beginners to start seeking an introduction into the reggae genre.
