This grinder is fantastic, looks good and won't leave salt rings everywhere. It grinds salt really well, it feels ergonomic in your hands. I wish it didn't have any plastic parts but at least the salt is sitting in glass.

After several expensive pepper grinders becoming blunt within a couple of years and also having the tendency to messily drop more grindings between uses than seem to go on the food, I finally found this grinder. It is perfect!1. It grinds lots at a time and easily2. It is ceramic so it wont go blunt3. It looks and feels solid and strong4. It isn't too big or too small5. It is smart looking and would look good in a traditional or modern setting6. It doesn't leave any mess!

I'm not sure what more I can add to the copious rave reviews about this product. The CrushGrind Pepper Mill does precisely what it says on the tin, and does it exceptionally well. I have wasted more money on inferior pepper grinders that fail after weeks or months and am quite happy to spend a bit more and get a quality product. This oozes quality and is a very nice mate to the salt grinder. Both look very sharp on the kitchen counter. It's nice and hefty in the hand, smooth to operate and a cinch to fill. Very, very highly recommend.

I've bought two pairs of Apollo mills now, one for my mother as a gift and, after being so impressed by them, one for myself.Firstly the mills are great to look at. All Stainless Steel, they stand out in any kitchen. They're also quite large, so hold a lot of product before needing to be refilled. They're very easy to use - the whole top half of the mill turns, meaning you don't have to struggle with a fiddly, small handle. They also have no spindle so you just pop the top off and pour in your product - very easy to fill up. Not a clue how they work without a spindle, but that's for someone else to worry about! The mechanism itself comes with a large number of settings, from quite coarse to fine, and no matter which I set it to the flow on each turn is very impressive, meaning only a few turns is necessary. These mills are quite expensive compared to some you can get, but they exude quality, deliver fantastically well, are incredibly easy to use, and with a lifetime guarantee I'm banking on never needing to buy another set of mills for myself again. My only gripe is that it's not particularly easy to tell the difference between Salt and Pepper, because it's only written in relatively small writing on the top. Still, this adds to the classy look I suppose, so it's not a huge issue.
