Product arrived very quickly. Happy with that. However I would have expected a miniature score to have some clarity about it. Its very poor being printed a bit smudgy. Pity. Makes it difficult to stay focused.

These Dover scores are excellent value for money. Symphony No2 is one of my favourite Mahler symphonies and this score is suitable for detailed analysis as a study score or simply to enhance your listening.

Hierbei handelt es sich um einen Reprint der 1897 erschienenen Erstausgabe vom Verlag Josef Weinberger. Von Nachteil ist, dass später erfolgte Revisionen Mahlers hier natürlich nicht brücksichtigt sind. Das Format ist für dieses groß besetzte Werk schlichtweg zu klein. Auch ist die Qualität der Reproduktion nicht sonderlich gut, besonders negativ fallen die oft löchrigen Notenlinien auf.
