J'avais commandé par erreur, 2 harmonicas, je devais être remboursée du 2 ème, toujours rien sur mon compte. C'est décevant.

This product is exactly as shown.I used to have a whole bunch of little harmonicas around the house for the kids to play with. Now that they're older, I thought perhaps I could get an adult sized one. So I was simply looking for a basic harmonica, hoping by having one around, my children might get curious and want to try, or learn it.This harmonica came in a very nice case. It also included instructions, but they were in Chinese, so not helpful to those of us who can't read Chinese! That's ok; not a deal breaker, of course. Lots of YouTube videos to help us with that! And I did just that. I watched a video on how to play the scale. I tried it. The sound produced by this harmonica was lovely! I sounded lovely, even though I didn't even know how to play it! I proceeded to play the Do Re Mi song from The Sound of Music.I would say this is definitely a fine harmonica for someone starting out. It might even be an excellent harmonica for advanced musicians, so please seek out other reviews.

First, let me say that I am not a very good harmonica player, but I do like to play one from time to time. I own a few as I like to collect them. I saw this version and decided, oh why not. It is a very nice looking harmonica and came in a very nice case as you can see in the photos. This is a very well made instrument. It isn't a toy. This harmonica also came with a cleaning cloth and an instruction manual. Unfortunately, the manual is all Chinese and not much help for us English only folks. If you have never played a harmonica before, lookup some instructions on the net first. How does it sound and play? In two words, really good. All of the tone holes from the lowest to the highest play easily and have a good dynamic range. You can play softly or push lots of air to play loud without the reeds jamming and getting muffled. I have a more expensive harmonica, that if you push too much, it just stops vibrating the reed. Most of the tones have a very good resonance about them, especially the lower notes. Like most instruments, the very high notes get a bit tinny with not much resonance, but that is the nature of these types of instruments. Don't misunderstand, they still sound good all up and down the tone spectrum. The harmonica and case get 5 stars. If they were to translate the manual to English and other languages for beginners, I would give it an overall 5 starts. This harmonica is definitely a keeper. I like to sit on the front porch in the cool of the morning and pick out tunes while rocking in the rocking chair. How relaxing is that?

I've played a few harmonicas over the years but am far from an expert, though I think I can tell the difference between a novelty harmonica and a genuine instrument intended for musicians. This is the latter. This LARGE piece -- it's not the size of a chocolate bar, as many smaller harmonicas are, it's double the length -- feels perfectly balanced in your hands, well made, and sturdy. It has good weight without being heavy. The sound is excellent. Rich and layered, it was smooth and easy to play, and produced a resonant sound that was far better than the borderline toys I've played in the past. Very nice. I really felt like it upped my game when it came to playing harmonica parts. How this compares to high end, professional level harmonicas, I can't say, but I CAN say it was a clear upgrade to the entry-level (often plastic) pieces I've played in the past. Thumbs up.
