I bought this so my puppy could have a little food during the day when I am at work. At first, it worked (I assume) but I recently had to adjust the feeding time. I have misplaced the instructions and had to play with it for a while. There is a reset button on the bottom but it doesn't do anything. I kept hitting different buttons and somehow I got the screen to reset. I tested it this past weekend for the proper feeding times and it worked 1/2 the time. I went home at lunch today and realized it didn't drop the food as scheduled. Not the easiest to set or reset and as someone else wrote, you don't know if it dropped food or not.

I saw a review saying this clogged. I asked another reviewer whether they were able to resolve the issue with different food and I bought the product anyway. Wish I hadn’t. This has never worked for us. Sometimes it puts food out: sometimes more and somethings less, and sometimes none. So you end up not knowing at all whether your dog has actually had any food or not. Worse than useless because it led me to neglect the dog or over feed her and I don’t even know which one.

Unique feeder that is perfect for little critters who take pelleted food. All the other feeders were too big for my little bunny’s needs and would not have fit into her space. This attaches to the outside of the cage, the dish clips on the inside.Very well made, easy to install and program. No app required (yay!).At first I thought the hopper was too wide for the openings in my cage, but the hopper straddles the wire. Brilliant. Keeps everything steady. The dish can be clipped on the unit under the hopper, or secured directly to the cage using the extra (shorter) plastic screw that is included. Or you can place any old dish under the hopper.You can program up to 4 feedings per day, and program the number of portions per feeding. I like that I can feed her smaller amounts 4X/day with this. One “portion” is about 1 Tbs and there are 8 Tbs in 1/2 cup. I have adjusted it a few times to get the portions right, and you can make the portions different for each feeding if you want to. The programming is easy/logical enough that I do not need to look at the instructions every time I adjust it.The displays lights blue when unlocked and ready to program. If you have trouble getting it to the unlocked state, try turning the unit off for a second, then it will turn on unlocked. That worked for me, at least.This thing is great. Now I just refill the machine once a week.I just hope bunny does not transfer her love of me (the former source of her pellets), to the new machine!

A little difficult to setup so read the instructions! Once you set it up then you don’t have to worry about it.

It jammed with kibble. I bought this for a new puppy. My husband is a pilot so able to be home a lot of the time with him but we wanted him to be fed a regular schedule when he was not because I work outside the home. I am not sure how many days before it jammed so I feel bad but he didn’t get fed at lunch on those days. Once unjammed it worked fine. Well it’s only been a day so we will see.
