Ich war etwas skeptisch bezüglich des SONAX PROFILINE HeadlightCoating, aber bei meiner C-Klasse aus 2003 mussten die Scheinwerfer jetzt gemacht werden und darum habe ich hier zugegriffen.Zuerst habe ich rund um die Scheinwerfer alles abgeklebt um den Lack nicht zu beschädigen. Das Schleifen selbst habe ich dann per Hand gemacht, da könnte man auch eine Maschine für verwenden Ja, aber ich bin da "oldschool" rangegangen. Ich habe mit 600er Schleifpapier gestartet und mich dann bis zum 5000er durchgekämpft, das Ergebnis war noch nicht so überzeugend muss ich sagen. Die Kunststoffgläser wirkten noch blass und etwas rau, ich hatte mich schon mit einer kleinen Niederlage angefreundet.ABER, dann kam von Sonax das Headlight Coating an die Reihe und da wendete sich das Blatt. Die Verarbeitung ist kinderleicht und sollte auch nach Vorschrift durchgeführt werden. Ich habe nach dem Auftragen die Reste entfernt und den Wagen in der Garage über Nacht stehen lassen, das Ergebnis am nächsten Morgen war einfach fantastisch. Die Scheinwerfer sind glatt wie ein Kinderpopo und auch von der Helligkeit wieder fast wie neu, das hat mich wirklich überzeugt muss ich sagen.Wie sich das Mittel nun im Langzeittest verhält , kann ich an dieser Stelle natürlich noch nicht sagen, ggf. folgt hier später noch ein Nachtrag dazu.Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt kann ich das Sonaxprodukt jedenfalls mit guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen, 5 Sterne von mir.

Depending on the condition of the lens, it can be applied without any prior polishing, after a light polishing with something like SONAX PROFILINE Np 03-06 (paint polish), or a more substantial work in case of badly deteriorated plastic.I used a plastic glove to spread the content of the sachet in order to stretch it to treat two cars, all lights around. It might be enough for three cars actually. If spreading with a tissue, plenty of fluid will be wasted, so use a glove or clingfilm. The fluid is oily. It covers any imperfections on the surface and makes them by far less visible. In 5 minutes the fluid begins to thicken - this is when you wipe it off with two kitchen towels, have several at hand. All together it takes 10 minutes to treat two cars.It feels like the coating will need to be reapplied every 3 months.

Recommended by a detailer friend, I had my headlights polished to remove the milky discolouring and needed some form of headlight sealant with a decent amount of UV protection. Ordered the Sonax Profiline Headlight Coating from Amazon and gave it a try. There are 10 sachets in the box with each sachet covering a set of headlights. Application was easy, the instructions say to wipe after applying, then allowing the headlights 4 hours of sitting and curing and to refrain from washing the car for a week. I've followed the instructions to the letter and the results have been fabulous. Durability is up to 1 year in ideal conditions but it doesn't matter, I have 9 more sachets waiting to be used :)
