Ik gebruik een ND filter omdat ik in log mode film. Bij helder weer kun je niet om een ND filet heen en zeker niet in Zuid Afrika bij het filmen van wild. Helaas is bij het wisselen van dit filter er een kapot gevallen: ze zijn van supergecoat glas en heel kwetsbaar......maar smallrig heeft mooie spulletjes dus gauw een nieuw filter besteld

These are good value for money.The only filters which give more value for money IMO are FOTGA, because they cost half the price of these and give more than half the quality. I guess you should buy whatever gives you a level of quality you're comfortable with, that fits within your budget.I think quality is better even with lower end 4x5.65 NDs than any VND solution. For this I fully recommend these.I'd love to use ARRI filters only but they just don't make sense, financially, for the kind of work I do.

Nogal prijzig maar je merkt dat het hier om kwaliteit gaat. Hoewel er geen (of weinig) andere merken zijn voor deze mattebox vind ik dit een goede aankoop. Maar nogmaals ik kon ook niet vergelijken.

Why this filter over a screw on from another brand? colour shift is the answer. This filter has some but all my screw on filters give a completely different colour to my images where this smallrig one stays very true to the original image from the camera when not using a filter. Maybe not as good as the top brands but a very acceptable budget option.
