Think of a bowl-type fluid head tripod as a ball head mount tripod on steroids. It’s the best of both worlds…and gets even better. A ball head tripod allows for quicker, smoother and easier camera angle adjustments than the standard vertical and horizontal movements of a typical tripod. Better yet, a bowl-type fluid head lends the same ease and range of motion adjustments of a ball head to the entire fluid head assembly. Rather than the uneven drag of friction, fluid heads ride a wave of hydraulic fluids. The result is smoother motion (ideal for video), greater support, stability and control along with their signature feature—a plate lock knob that, whether the camera is tilted forward or backward, will automatically and safely return it to level, avoiding that sudden tilt that can result if the handle is accidentally released on a standard tripod. The mounting plate on the AVT-02 returns the camera to near level when it is put at an angle and then released. I tried several adjustments, but it never returns it to true level or even twice to the same angle; I’m not sure if it is supposed to, and it certainly doesn’t need to. It still spares me the risk of the head flopping unexpectedly and otherwise functions normally overall. It is less concerning to me than the quick release plate function. The design is unlike any I have seen. It’s finicky and seems needlessly complicated. It’s disappointing, too, that the camera screw mounts are not the convenient D-ring type. That aside, the build is very solid. I appreciate that 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch screw mounts are enclosed. A threaded connector on the side of the head makes for convenient mounting of a microphone, light or other accessory. The tension on the leg flip locks can be adjusted (hex wrenches enclosed), and the mid-level spreader is up to the task. It all packs away in a quality, 38-inch, padded polyester carrying bag with a zippered interior pouch, a soft handle and adjustable length shoulder strap.

In meiner Überschrift habe ich bereits mein Fazit nach nun längerer Nutzung zusammengefasst.Ich war auf der Suche nach einem stabilen Stativ für meine alte Kombi aus Nikkon mit Teleobjektiv 70-200mm und Makro.Für mich war das Wichtigste die Stabilität und Verarbeitung. Jeder hat natürlich seine eigenen Schwerpunkte und Vorlieben bei Kamerastativen und das "EINE" Stativ muss vermutlich erst noch "gebacken" werden.Für mich als Hobbyfotografen der einfach zwischendurch raus in die Natur möchte sollte es vor allen Dingen, einfach und schnell Auf- und abzubauen und natürlich Stabil sein. Mit aufgesetzter Kamera gelingen die Schwenks immer, da sich der Stativkopf sehr weich bewegen lässt.Aufgebaut wird hier u. a. eine NIKON D5100, eine PANASONIC HC-V180 sowie auch einige ältere Analog und Digitalkameras. Belastungsprobleme gab es bis dato keine. Die Stativbeine sind leicht aus- und wieder einzufahren, hierfür muss lediglich jeweils ein Gewinde gelöst bzw. wieder angezogen werden. Die Schnellwechselplatte mit 1/4 "und 3/8 harmoniert und imponiert mir bis dato absolut.Auch auf unebenem Grund und Hanglage lässt sich das Stativ problemlos und stabil in wenigen Sekunden installieren.Alle vorgenannten Parameter erfüllt das hier vorliegende Fotostativ zu meiner vollen Zufriedenheit und das bei einem absolut fairen Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis.Ich bin sehr zufrieden. In seiner Preisklasse, nach meinem, natürlich subjektivem Empfinden, sicher eines der Besten, die man derzeit alternativ zu Manfrotto und Co.in dieser Preisklasse erwerben kann. Hat mich echt gefreut das Stativ ausprobieren zu können! Gerne 4 Sterne!

There are things to like about this tripod/head combo, but also some left to be desired. I think the best part are the video legs. If you have another fluid head you like, then you may want to pair it to them. If you don't though, this will certainly work for a beginner looking to improve their video skills.The plate seems to not be interchangeable with my Manfrotto plate, but it does have the top loading feature which I've grown to like. It's nice to be able to drop your camera in rather than sliding it into place. The thing the head lacks though, is separation between the damping and the lock. If you lock off the tripod a lot as well as do tilts/pans, then fine tuning the dampening to your liking isn't really possible. This is not uncommon at this price range though, and for a beginner you will be able to get much better shots than if you are using a photo/stills ballhead.Even though I originally purchased this for the head, I ended up liking the legs instead. My other pair uses a twisting lock/unlock mechanism where these use a robust latch. I certainly like the latch version much more! If you are on a budget but still want a decent tripod focused on video, then this is a good choice.

I will begin by saying this is a very well built and huge tripod.This is (in my opinion) not a tripod for travel, it's absolutely huge. The carry bag is long than my back. It's not particularly heavy at about 4kg though.It's very easy to manipulate the legs, they fold out easily once the little plastic clamps have been unstuck from the legs, and the huge push levers to extend the legs work really well. The larger of the sections will allow the legs to just fall down into their extended position, but the lower section needs pulling out to extend. It's just simple gravity that's all.The fluid head feels awesome, nice and easy to push around and has a great consistent travel. I did notice an annoying problem where pushing the handle up towards the open section of two legs would result in the tripod lifting up and almost toppling over. Simply holding the tripod mitigates this but I've not had this issue before.I fully extended the tripod and it is HUGE. I'm 192cm tall and it's taller than me.The camera base plate is secured with a thumb screw that holds in place with friction, along with a little push level that engages or disengages the "stopper" that keeps the plate from falling out or being removed. Just a quick push will retract the safety so you can remove the base plate, and pushing it back in and flat to the tripod will reengage the safety again.The bag is tough, it'll definitely take a rough few days, and the zips felt of good quality with no sticking or separation of the teeth randomly.

È un treppiede robusto, versatile e con una testa fluida che mi ha davvero semplificato la vita durante le ultime riprese, e partendo proprio dalla testa fluida: è il cuore di questo treppiede e funziona che è una meraviglia. Gira a 360 gradi per le panoramiche e si inclina da -60° a +90°, tutto con una fluidità che sembra quasi irreale per un prodotto in questa fascia, i movimenti sono lisci e precisi, senza scatti fastidiosi.L’ho usata con la mia DSLR e una videocamera un po’ pesantina, e non ha fatto una piega: perfetta per chi vuole risultati pro.La stabilità è un altro punto forte, realizzato in lega di alluminio, con una base a ciotola da 75 mm e una struttura a doppio tubo, questo treppiede è un carro armato, regge fino a 10 kg senza battere ciglio, anche su terreni un po’ sconnessi , l’ho testato su un prato umido e non si è mosso di un millimetro.I piedini antiscivolo aiutano un sacco, e la sensazione è sempre quella di avere qualcosa di solido sotto la tua attrezzatura, per me, che spesso monto obiettivi pesanti, è stata una sicurezza non da poco.L’altezza regolabile è incredibile, si va da un minimo di circa 86 cm fino a un massimo di 190 cm, vuoi una macro rasoterra? Fatto, una panoramica dall’alto? Ci arriva senza problemi, l’ho usato sia in studio che fuori, e si adatta a tutto: vlog, documentari, persino qualche scatto creativo in montagna, è come avere più treppiedi in uno.Il meccanismo di sgancio rapido è una di quelle cose che apprezzi sul campo, la piastra si monta e si smonta in un attimo con viti da 1/4" e 3/8", e il sistema a scatto è velocissimo, durante una giornata intensa, con cambi di setup continui, mi ha fatto risparmiare un sacco di tempo e imprecazioni, basta un click e la fotocamera è su o giù.Ci sono anche dei dettagli che fanno la differenza: la livella a bolla integrata è utilissima per allineare tutto al volo, soprattutto se sei pignolo come me sull’orizzonte,Piegato, sta in 89 cm e, grazie alla custodia in dotazione fatta anche quella molto bene lo trasporti con facilità, certo, non è leggerissimo come un treppiede da passeggio, ma per quello che offre direi che il peso è più che giustificato.Difetti? Forse per qualcuno potrebbe essere un filo ingombrante da chiuso, ma per me è un compromesso accettabile, e questo è un treppiede che sa il fatto suo: stabile, pratico e con una testa fluida che vale ogni centesimo. Ho il piacere di condividere con te la mia esperienza con il treppiede "SIRUI AVT-02", che ho ricevuto per testarlo e recensirlo in quanto membro del programma Amazon Vine.La prima cosa che mi ha colpito è la qualità: realizzato in lega di alluminio ad alta resistenza, trasmette immediatamente una sensazione di solidità e affidabilità.Il treppiede è arrivato ben imballato in una robusta borsa da trasporto, che si è rivelata molto pratica per gli spostamenti. Nonostante il peso di circa 4,5 kg possa sembrare significativo, questa caratteristica contribuisce effettivamente alla stabilità complessiva durante l'uso, specialmente quando si lavora con attrezzature più pesanti.Con un'altezza massima di 190 cm e una capacità di carico di 10 kg, questo treppiede da 4,5 kg offre prestazioni professionali grazie alla sua testa fluida a 360 gradi con sistema di sgancio rapido.Durante le riprese ho apprezzato i movimenti fluidi e precisi, il sistema di livellamento con bolla integrata e le gambe in tre sezioni per la massima flessibilità di posizionamento. La testa fluida mi ha permesso di seguire i musicisti sul palco con movimenti naturali e professionali, creando transizioni cinematografiche tra i vari elementi della scena. Das 3,8 kg schwere Stativ kommt mit einer großen schwarzen Tragetasche mit Tragegriffen und einem 5 cm breitem, verstellbaren Schultergurt. Der Reißverschluss lässt sich über die ganze Länge öffnen. Innen in der Tasche ist ein kleines Reißverschlussfach für kleinteiliges Zubehör (Schrauben, Inbus, Adapter)Das Stativ ist komplett ausgezogen und ganz aufgestellt 189 cm hoch (bis Kopf/Montagefläche).Die ausziehbaren Beine sind aus schwarzem Aluminiumrohr. Die in silbergrau gehaltenen Feststellklemmen lassen sich gut erkennen und gut bedienen. Die Feststellstärke ist über eine Inbusschraube individuell einstellbar.Höhen: 139 cm (nur die Einzelstangen ausgefahren) / 85 cm (alles eingefahren). Natürlich ist jede Zwischenhöhe möglich.Der Videokopf ist aus Metall, hochfestes Aluminium, wirkt fast wie Gusseisen. Über einen unten angebrachten Schraubgriff und eine Kugelschale lässt sich der Kopf leicht ausrichten/justieren.Der Widerstand in beiden Schwenkebenen ist angenehm fest, es lassen sich so sanfte Schwenks durchführen. Der vertikale Schwenkbereich ist dabei so eingestellt, dass der Kopf immer die Tendenz hat, zur Mitte (0°) zurückzukehren, also zu der Ebene, in die man den Kopf ausgerichtet hat. Der Rückschwenk in die Nullerebene ist also immer etwas leichter, als der Hinausschwenk. Vor allem verhindert das System auf diese Weise ein Vorn- oder Hintenüberkippen der Kamera bei gelöster Vertikal-Schwenk-Arretierung.Der 36 cm lange Schwenkgriff lässt sich in vielen Positionen anbringen, je nach Aufnahmesituation. Der 12 cm lange Griff aus Gummi bzw. weichem Kunststoff lässt sich dabei gut greifen und halten.Sowohl die vertikale als auch die horizontale Position lassen sich mit den grauen Drehschrauben fixieren.Die Kamerawechselplatte ist 12 cm lang und 5 cm breit. Alles ist auf hohe Festigkeit ausgelegt. Der Schnappmechanismus ist genial, das kenne ich so von keinem meiner Stative. Durch einen seitlichen Verriegelungshebel kann man die Kamera nach oben wegheben, bzw von oben aufsetzen, der Verschluss rastet sofort ein. Rausrutschen kann die Platte nicht. Über eine Skala am Videokopf und einer Markierung an der Wechselplatte kann man die Balance der Kameraposition merken und schnell wiederfinden. Vor allem bei schweren Systemen ist das wichtig, wofür das Stativ ausdrücklich auch ausgelegt ist. Eine Wasserwaagenlibelle ist auch am Kopf angebracht. Eine ¼ Zoll-Schraube für leichtere Kameras, wie auch eine 3/8 Zoll-Schraube für schwereres Gerät kann man im Kopf zum Wechseln lagern. Beides ist auch im Lieferumfang, wie auch zwei Inbusschlüssel. Ein weiterer Inbusschlüssel ist in der Wechselplatte verstaut. Mit zwei kleinen Magneten fixiert, damit er nicht rausfällt.Nach dem Zusammenbau halten drei kleine Plastikklammern das Stativ als kompaktes Paket zusammen.Die Verarbeitung des Stativs ist insgesamt sehr hochwertig, durch den Einsatz von Aluminium ist es trotz seiner Robustheit verhältnismäßig leicht. Die Bedienbarkeit ist kongenial gut, alles einfach und überschaubar gelöst, alles super praktisch mitgedacht. Ich gebe gerne 5 Sterne.
